a handmade christmas - jennifer

A table runner for Jennifer. I made it using half-square triangles to make the pinwheels. It was easier than I thought. I used the leftover fabric to make a small patchwork backing. I really think that I am getting better at the whole machine quilting thing. I hope she likes it!

a handmade christmas - kimber

A wonky log cabin Christmas quilt that I made for Kimber. This was my first time sewing the wonky log cabin and I really like how it turned out. I hope that Kimber loves it!

a handmade christmas - mom

I made a Christmas coin quilt out of my stash of Christmas fabrics leftover from many projects. The fabric on the back is actually one that I bought when I worked at The Stitching Corner before I even got married!

This is by far the biggest quilt that I have machine quilted on my home machine, what a challenge that was. My sewing machine is definitely not built for the kind of sewing that I have put it through lately. Don't look too closely at the quilting, because it is far from perfect. This is the first time that I have labeled a quilt this way and I really like it.

I hope that mom enjoys it!

For the nephews, I made aprons and gave them a child size cookie cutter set. Hopefully they will have fun helping mom in the kitchen.
