This year Richard and I drew Rebecca and Jason to give to. I was excited to make them a new, cozy quilt to keep in their family room. Rebecca and Jason live in the cold and snowy mountains, so I knew they would appreciate a snuggly, flannel quilt.
I used mostly flannel except for the tan "steps" on the front. The back also includes a handstitched label in the stripe across the middle. I just quilted along the stairs on the front.

Looks cozy! I've been meaning to try that pattern. It complements your fabrics perfectly!
