shop update

I have been having so much fun putting together fabrics to make quilts and pillow covers. I love the whole process of picking colors, cutting them up and creating new and beautiful things. This quilt and pillow covers are all made using a variety of colors and patterns that all seem to work together so well!

gathered clutch

Recently I participated in round 7 of the vintage sheet swap. I received a fat quarter from Veronica A.M. and I really loved it. I contacted her and we negotiated a trade, more yardage of the print I love in exchange for this clutch. I really like the combination of the floral and butterflies in this clutch. Hopefully she loves it as well.

patchwork baby girl quilt

I know I say this about every quilt I make, but I love this one! The mix of florals and stripes is so great and I just love how all the colors work together. I love using vintage sheets because they all seem to blend together so well. This one is available in my shop now as well as the cute checkerboard pillow cover that coordinates.

primary plus quilt - finished!

I was able to finish the primary plus quilt this weekend. You can read more about it here. I love, love, love how this quilt turned out. I have made a plus quilt before, but I wanted to be able to see the different fabrics better so I added some white this time.

I have wanted to make a primary colored quilt with my vintage sheet stash for a while and I think it turned out great. As you can see, I decided against the border, the floral that I was going to use just didn't look quite right, but it makes a great backing. It is a thrifted sheet that seemed to have never been used before, it was in perfect condition.

cute baby quilt

I have been going through some of the quilts that I have listed in my shop and I realized this one was no longer there. I don't know what happened, so I just took some new pics and relisted it today. I still really love this quilt, I have another one similar that I also love.

I also took some new pics of the pillow cover that matches the quilts.

curtains

Yay! I finished the curtains last night and was able to get them photographed this morning. I really love how they turned out. They are lined with a thrifted white sheet that has a subtle woven stripe. I also added ties to the back, but they are hidden when untied.

busy in a fun way

I have been busy working on some cute patchwork curtains. They are a custom order for a great customer, Lindsay. I have made her new baby girl a quilt, bumper pads and now these curtains. I am sure she has the cutest nursery around! Lindsay also has a cute shop on Etsy where she sells party decor, cute cards, and handmade art.

I am also still working on this quilt. I decided to go with no border and hopefully I will get that quilted and in the shop this weekend. Here's hoping I have a productive day Friday.

How about you? What projects are you working on this weekend?
